Zoom Mortgage LLC sends recurring automated SMS text messages regarding your mortgage inquiry, loan application updates, appointment and document reminders, customer support, and occasional promotional or marketing offers.
Consumers opt in through the Zoom Mortgage LLC website at https://zoommortgagellc.com. To locate the opt-in form, the consumer clicks "Get Started" in the website navigation or scrolls to the "Let's get you a number you can build on" section near the bottom of the homepage. The consumer enters their name, email address, and mobile phone number, selects the mortgage service they are interested in, and voluntarily checks the separate, optional SMS consent checkbox before clicking "Request my quote."
The SMS consent checkbox is not pre-selected, and submitting the mortgage inquiry form is not conditioned upon consenting to receive text messages.
The checkbox disclosure states: "By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring automated SMS text messages from Zoom Mortgage LLC regarding my mortgage inquiry, loan application updates, appointment and document reminders, customer support, and occasional promotional or marketing offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may opt in again at any time by replying START or by resubmitting the opt-in form on our website.
